What is tawaf meaning?

Tawaf is an Islamic ritual that involves circling the Kaaba, the most sacred site in Islam, located in the center of the Great Mosque of Mecca. Tawaf is one of the integral rites of the Hajj pilgrimage, which all Muslims are required to perform once in their lifetime if they are physically and financially able to do so. Tawaf involves circumambulating the Kaaba seven times in an anti-clockwise direction, beginning and ending at the Black Stone corner. Tawaf is a physical manifestation of submission to Allah and a symbol of unity among Muslims from all over the world. It is considered to be a deeply spiritual and transformative experience and a vital part of the Muslim faith.
